    Website Design for Bruce Blood

Bruce Blood is my friend. He’s also a songwriter, guitarist, and vocalist whose distinctive songs capture evocative scenes from American life. As a guitarist, he is known for his versatility across genres such as folk, jazz, R&B, rock, and country. For the past 15 years, he has operated a recording studio, RMC Recording, that specializes in working with singer-songwriters and small combos. As of 2017, he also produces high-quality, small-scale music videos through Lindsey Lake Video. By the way, I also designed his logo and business card, about a year ago. What fun! www.BruceBlood.com

Business Card Design for McKain Lakey, Musician

McKain is an instrumentalist, singer, and songwriter, who works as a solo artist, as part of the duo Woolly Breeches, and with other bands and musicians. She is also an experienced audio engineer who has worked as a front-of-house engineer, monitor engineer, and stage/production manager. So happy that McKain trusted me to create a biz card for her musical life!

Songwriter, singer, guitarist…production, live audio, and recording…what does Bruce Blood not do when it comes to music? Honored that my buddy Bruce Blood trusted me to create a logo for his musical life. Next up: a website site re-design to incorporate his new logo and colors!

    New Business Card!

I love designing business cards, so I change mine frequently, just for the joy of it! This one combines two things I’m doing a lot these days: myth (writing) and magic (painting). The back reads “Adrienne Asher: poetry, fiction, non-fiction, fine art.”

New Website Designed: Coastal Arts Enterprises

Coastal Arts Enterprises serves the San Francisco Bay Area arts community, creating fundraising, gallery shows, corporate art installations, and artist websites and marketing. I not only designed the logo and website, but am also a part of the organization’s marketing, public relations, and digital/social media efforts. We hope to not only support the growth and success of artists in the area, but also help create viable arts communities and organizations.

    New Grass-Fed Beef Website Design

A Northern California ranch that raises grass-fed beef and lamb recently asked me to design a website that would support their efforts to sell online as well as giving members of their monthly clubs a chance to place orders. They wanted a site that felt rustic and simple, like their ranch. Earthy colors, illustrations,  and photography from their lands, kept the mood homey, and a clean and simple layout made things easy to navigate. Simplicity in design amplifies their message of reaching out to people with whom they already have long-term relationships of trust and value. It doesn’t hurt that their meat is the very best, from a health perspective: beef from grass-fed animals has lower levels…

Photographic Portraits of Famous Artist’s Paint Palettes by Matthias Schaller

Since 2007, photographer Matthias Schaller has photographed raw, abstract paintings. The paintings, however, are not found on canvas, but rather smeared onto the tools used to craft each work of art—the palettes. His series, Das Meisterstück (The Masterpiece), claims these behind-the-scene objects as portraits of the artist, while also giving a direct insight into the detailed techniques performed by each painter. See more, here…
